Bob the Tech Audio had this McIntosh MC2500 in for a checkup today. We cleaned and lubricated the controls and pots to resolve a bit of noise at the upper end of the gain range. We also adjusted the offset and bias on the driver boards, and calibrated the meters. Our performance measurements demonstrate how well this unit is performing. Now we are just listening and enjoying the sound.
